Aztec Trend
Aztec is definitely one of my favourite prints for spring. Blending the edginess of a tribal look with the far-away exotica of Navajo - the many Aztec items in the stores transport me to far-away places when I wear them. Let me give you a piece of advice if you're considering trying this trend - wear it as accents if you're shy with fashion or prefer to give a nod to what's in vogue rather than embrace it wholly. Accessories - shoes, bags, belts and jewellery really liven up an outfit. Feather earrings are my favourite - they look so glam and suit everyone. Or for a glam night out, experiment with a Navajo style head dress. If you're all over the seasonal trends then go full-throttle with cute sweaters, fitted skirts and even leggings. Topshop have some fantastic loud and proud print leggings! Aztec looks best with neutral colours and classic casual materials so opt for white linen maxi skirts, denim jeans, gilets and jackets for the best finish.
