Catch up over afternoon tea

Afternoon tea comes in all shapes, sizes and styles these days, and there’s a special selection to try at Meadowhall.

Visit Caffè Massarella for an Italian twist on afternoon tea from £22.95 with tea or coffee, or £29.95 with wine or prosecco. Make sure to book in advance for this.

Caffe Rizzoli also offers a prosecco afternoon tea with a selection of fresh scones with jam and cream, delicious sandwiches and hand-crafted sweet treats. Accompanied with tea or coffee, prosecco or pinot noir.

Make a meal of it

Grab your friends and head out for a nice meal. From pizza and pasta, to green curry and noodle dishes, there’s plenty of choice at Meadowhall.

Serving freshly prepared dishes each day, Carluccio’s is a popular choice for pasta lovers. Share nibbles such as calamari fritti, arancini or burrata, with an antipasti plate to start and choose from Italian classics like carbonara and lasagne for mains.

And with no need to book in advance, wagamama is the perfect place for a relaxed or impromptu dinner with friends, so rock up any time and take a seat on one of their relaxed benches. With something for everyone, friends can tuck in and share a wide variety of rice and noodle dishes, along with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

Friends who brunch

From pancakes to prosecco, there’s brunch options galore at Meadowhall.

Bringing flavours, cultures and people together, Giraffe bar and grill is the place to be for a bottomless prosecco brunch. Available daily from 11am to 4pm, book to enjoy an hour and a half of free-flowing prosecco and a tasty brunch dish for just £25pp. Classics like eggs benedict and avocado on toast make up the menu, alongside more exotic dishes such as the Mexican Tostada breakfast on offer.

Another popular option is the Las Iguanas bottomless brunch – a full 90 minutes of unlimited prosecco, draught beer or cocktails with a starter and main. The popular brunch is available 11am-5pm Sunday to Friday, and 11am-3pm on Saturday, with prices starting at £29.95pp.

Sienna Kitchen & Bar inside the Flannels Lifestyle store is also home to an all-day brunch menu. With Smoothie Bowls and Blueberry Ricotta Hotcakes on the menu as well as a range of other breakfast favourites, it’s perfect if you’re searching for vegan brunch in Sheffield. Enjoy your meal with tea, coffee, soft drinks, cocktails, mocktails or more at Sienna bar – something for every catch up occasion!

TGI Fridays new Bottomless Brunch has launched with four new sharers paired with 4 glasses of Prosecco,  Pilsner, or 4 cocktails. It’s available Monday to Thursday all day and Friday to Sunday 11.30am-3.30pm for a 90-minute slot of pure TGI Fridays fun

The Caffè Rizzoli Prosecco Bar is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of bubbly with friends, offering the finest prosecco sourced from small, family run Italian vineyards. There are options for everyone – whether you’re looking for something dry, rose, organic or sugar free.

Sheffield’s Supertram runs through Meadowhall up to every ten minutes – and you can grab a DayRider ticket from £4.40 – or if you’re travelling from further a far, hop on the train to Meadowhall station.
