The wellbeing of our colleagues and customers is our number one priority, and so we’ve introduced extra measures to help everyone have a safe and enjoyable visit. These include enhanced cleaning regimes, particularly of key touchpoints, as well as a keep left system.

Yes. You must wear a face covering at all times, unless you are exempt for medical reasons. This is a legal requirement and our community policing team are on-site to ensure compliance.

We have two designated seating areas located in the Oasis External Courtyard and at the lower High Street Entrance near to Argos.
Customers must be seated at a table while eating and follow all Government guidelines around social distancing.
We kindly ask that if there are no seats and tables available, to either wait for one to become available or consume your food off site.
For everyone’s safety, our team will ask you to move on if you are consuming food away from designated table.
Wetherspoons also has an external beer garden where you can sit and dine with them.

There are disabled access facilities located within Changing Places just off The Oasis Dining Quarter, near Pizza Hut and KFC. On arrival, please use the intercom to gain access. Our Changing Places facility is being cleaned after each use. The facility includes a height adjustable adult-sized changing bench, a hoist system, space for the disabled person and one carer a privacy curtain and a non-slip floor.

We have 350 disabled parking spaces, head to Orange Zone 1 car park for those nearest the Shopmobility Desk, near Argos entrance. More information on Shopmobility.
We also offer over 200 parent and child spaces.

Shopmobility are currently unable to provide the familiarisation sessions that are required for new users of our Shopmobility services, while also maintaining social distancing.
We are sorry to any customers impacted by this, and we look forward to reinstating the full service as soon as it is safe to do so.You can hire a wheelchair or mobility scooters at Meadowhall.
We have a number of wheelchairs and self-drive mobility scooters you can borrow. Just make sure you bring along 2 pieces of ID, one which includes your home address. You'll need to call us beforehand to book your scooter as we want to make sure we have one available when you need it. We’re proud to be working in conjunction with Parkgate Mobility.

Yes, Meadowhall does recycle all waste in the centre, and where we can't recycle waste it is sent to energy facilities to be turned into power for homes, schools and businesses.

The innovative two-tier bike storage hubs, available for customers, are located at the centre at;
There's also a dedicated hub for centre staff in Service Area 7.
Customers and staff can use this facility for a short term basis, for example whilst using the shopping centre, visit the Meadowhall cycle hub page for full conditions of use.

All colleagues working at Meadowhall are asked to use the dedicated staff car park off Alsing Road.
Meadowhall provides a dedicated staff car park of 1,400 spaces less than 400m from the main entrances. This decision was made by the Retail Panel Association to ensure a ‘customer first’ approach.
There are over 300 dedicated disabled parking spaces across the Centre’s car parks, available for blue badge holders.
Meadowhall has implemented a temporary dispensation policy for employees, which is agreed and overseen by our Retail Panel Association. This process is available to view and download.
We are proud to have been recognised and awarded for our car parks through Park Mark, an independent industry award.

The safety and security of Meadowhall customers and retailers is our priority, Meadowhall’s partnership with South Yorkshire Police has run for over 25 years and continues to go from strength to strength. Over recent months Meadowhall has increased numbers of armed police, security staff and precautionary safety measures to protect the safety of our visitors and our team.
We are proud to be one the longest running security teams in any UK shopping centre, and to have been recognized across the industry for our work. As a team, we are trained to the highest level to ensure the safety of all, working closely with a range of partners including the police and other emergency services.
South Yorkshire Police have an on-site police station at the centre, working alongside our security team. Meadowhall is part of South Yorkshire Police’s Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS), which is a voluntary scheme under the Police Reform Act 2002, enabling the South Yorkshire Police Chief Constable to offer suitable employers and their employees within the county an accredited status in respect of them carrying out certain community safety functions. Meadowhall is accredited to CSAS contributing to maintaining and improving community safety.

Meadowhall is the only major out of town retail centre in the UK with its own heavy rail and light rail offering excellent transport links with the Meadowhall Passenger Transport Interchange (PTI) across local and regional bus, train and Supertram services. Meadowhall is also directly next to the M1 if travelling by car. This unique degree of accessibility is celebrated by the centre as a key attribute, and is a significant factor contributing to the aims and objectives of the Meadowhall Travel Plan.
These overarching aims are:
- To improve the general understanding of sustainable transport options;
- To encourage the Meadowhall team to use sustainable transport options;

Car
Leave Sheffield City Centre along the A61, leading onto the A6109 (M1 North) Brightside Lane. Continue for approximately 2.5 miles. Go straight on at the roundabout with Forgemasters on your right, then turn right at the 4th set of traffic lights.

There are cycle routes from both Sheffield and Rotherham. When you do arrive, cycle stands and lockers can be used for peace on mind.
- We have dedicated cycle paths linking the Centre to both Sheffield and Rotherham as well as Transpennine routes 6, 62 and Five Weirs Walk.
- Cycle stands and cycle lockers are located adjacent to the cycle path near the Oasis Dining Quarter entrance and children’s outdoor play area.
- Further cycle stands are located at the lower High Street entrance of Orange Zone 1 car park (near the Argos store) and in the Passenger Transport Interchange adjacent to the bus parking bays.
