Meadowhall is helping to make online shopping even more convenient for its visitors, with the launch of a brand new Customer Service and Collection facility – the first of its kind in the UK.
The unique service means shoppers will be able to collect their online orders in the centre and try on new purchases immediately in one of two changing room facilities. They can then choose to send any unwanted items back instantly with free returns label printing and packaging.
Meadowhall is partnering with Collect+ to offer the service, with deliveries made from online retailers such as Amazon, Asos and Pretty Little Thing on a daily basis.
Meadowhall gift cards will also be on sale and the centre has plans to open a personal styling experience from the space later in the year.
Customer Service and Collection can be found on the upper level, next to the entrance to the Oasis Dining Quarter. Members of the Meadowhall team will be on hand to help at all times, and it will also be the new home of the customer services team.
Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, said: “As a centre we always embrace the changing landscape of retail, and evolve our offering to meet new shopper demands. Our new service does exactly that.
“It’s all about bringing the benefits of offline shopping to online purchases. We know that our visitors come here for a day out experience and, for fashion shoppers, a big part of the enjoyment is having the opportunity to find and try on new outfits with friends and family. For me, that’s a key element of this new service, alongside the convenience and ease it brings to collecting and returning online purchases.”
Meadowhall’s Customer Service and Collection will be open in line with the centre’s standard opening times which are, 10am-9pm Monday-Friday, 9am-8pm Saturday and 11am-5pm Sunday.
