Meet Mr Colour, Meadowhall’s New Personal Stylist

About Peter

Peter Kane joined the London College of Style tutoring as an experienced women’s and men’s personal stylist with a major passion for colour, design, and eclectic style!

After training in Womenswear Fashion Design at Manchester Metropolitan University and Central Saint Martin’s, Peter was awarded a pre-apprenticeship in Savile Row Bespoke Tailoring. He has styled for celebrities such as Bjork, Roisin Murphy, Kylie Minogue, Annie Lennox, Myleene Klass, Jodie Marsh and Will Young; amongst others – brining his excellent eye for colour, pattern and print to each client.

Working for establishments such as Steinberg & Tolkien and Angels Costumiers, Peter has also designed for major hair campaigns such as L’Oréal and Angelo Seminara, whilst maintaining his own couture line.

Peter was first trained in colour analysis by London College of Style’s very own Jules Standish and went on to be mentored by her as his career in personal styling blossomed, styling clients for retail giant John Lewis alongside personal clientele.  Peter is skilled at creating and presenting Style Talks through the website on a national scale; ‘I love to bring my colour and style knowledge and fashion history into each appointment and build confidence within all my clients – people are my passion and knowing how to help them understand themselves through the simple ‘art of dressing’ keeps me inspired day to day’.

1. Colour Analysis £150 , 2 hour

Have you ever wondered what your best colours are? Then you are in the best hands when it comes to this! Have you ever bought something and then as you wear it you don’t feel right in it? It’s probably because the colour isn’t complimenting your natural complexion. I can help find your true colours that will flatter you and make you look and feel your absolute best! This session includes a free ‘Colour fan’ & part 2 of this session includes a shop with your new ‘colour fan’.

2. Style, Click and Collect+ (1 hour) £80, 1 hour

Do you have a special occasion or interview to attend but don’t have the time to search or physically shop for it? Then this service is for you!

Not only will I send you a personalised ‘digital moodboard’ to suit your shape, colouring and style, but you can order these ideas into the Click & Collect+ in Meadowhall in time for your private hour long styling session with me in my Styling Suite, located beside Collect+. Easy!

The brilliant thing about Collect+ is you can order pieces you’ve been looking at yourself online (any brand that utilises Collect+ service) and then benefit from a guided, professional opinion. You can also bring along pieces you already own to be re-styled, keeping your style ‘sustainable’.

3. The Style & Shop (2 hours) £150, 2 hours

This is the perfect package for someone that needs style help and doesn’t know where to start!

You may be looking for an outfit for a special occasion, interview, or just a top-up to your wardrobe. It’s all about getting the best possible help and ideas for you to step out in your personal Style! Yes you may be coaxed to try new ideas but that’s the fun of the ‘Style & Shop’

Before our shopping trip I take into consideration your proportions, body shape and style identity and help you find an outfit (or selection of pieces) that will make you look and feel amazing.

Through specifically asked questions I will send you a ‘digital moodboard’ that gives you inspiration and ideas (you can shop from the board) and you can order these pieces to our Meadowhall Collect+ location, next door to my private Style Suite. The ideas I send will be options from shops that utilise the Collect+ service, so if you see anything you like, make sure you order it into our collect location!

Within the 2 hours, you will try on your Collect+ in my private Style Suite and we can also go for an informed and guided shop in Meadowhall. Your very own Personal stylist with you, guiding you to make the right decisions for your Personal Style, colours and shape/proportions.

4: Friends with Style , Collect+ and Shop  , 3 hours (for 2 friends) £250 (Finished with a glass of prosecco at Carluccios)

Not only will I send you both a personalised ‘digital moodboard’ to suit your shape, colouring and style, but you can order these ideas into the Click & Collect+ in Meadowhall in time for your private hour long styling session with me in my Styling Suite, located beside Collect+. After both your hour-long sessions (time can vary, depending on how much time you want to also shop in Meadowhall) we spend the 3rd hour shopping in Meadowhall at your preferred shop!

Then you finish with a Complimentary drink of Prosecco or soft drink/coffee/tea at Carluccios! A chance to sit and relax after a good shop ’til you drop’!
