It’s the end of the school year but that doesn’t have to mean the end for your children’s uniforms.
This Summer, Meadowhall launches a brand-new community initiative collecting preloved uniforms and redistributing them to local schools. We want to help families who struggle to afford new uniforms for the school year ahead. Kitting out a child for the new term can be costly but we aim to relieve some of that burden for local parents.
To make this initiative a success, we need your help and are counting on your generosity to donate good quality items that your children have outgrown. From trousers and skirts, to t-shirts and jumpers, you can donate any unbadged item and help to support families in your local community who are less fortunate.
Marks & Spencer and Debenhams are also supporting our campaign and to say thank you, everyone who donates their old uniform can enter into a prize draw to win a £150 Marks & Spencer voucher and a £150 Debenhams voucher. Simply complete the competition form when you drop off the school uniform.
We will be hosting a collection point 19-20 August at the Main Dome lower level where you can come and drop off your unbadged donations and register for the free prize draw.
Can't visit us on 19-20 August?
If you would like to drop off your uniform before 19 August please email us to arrange this at firstname.lastname@example.org
Schools who are interested in receiving some of the donated items are invited to contact email@example.com to request a bag of mixed donated clothing. This will be allocated on first come first served basis.
